- To possess adequate knowledge in mathematics, science and engineering subjects pertaining to Industrial Engineering; to apply theoretical and applied knowledge in these areas to complex Industrial Engineering problems
- To identify and define complex Industrial Engineering problems; to select and apply proper Operations Research and other methods and modeling techniques for formulating and solving such problems.
- To analyze, design and improve complex systems, subsystems, processes under realistic constraints; ability to apply modern systems design methodologies.
- To select, adapt and use state-of-the-art techniques and computing tools needed for Industrial Engineering practice; to utilize information technologies effectively.
- To design and conduct experiments, gather data, analyze and interpret results for addressing complex Industrial Engineering problems.
